Assistant Dean of External Relations
Wanda G. Hoover of Little Rock is Assistant Dean of External Relations for
the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law. She brings to the position more
than 19 years of senior level management experience in the non-profit sector
and 14 years in the financial services industry.
For the past two years, she served as director of development and marketing of the William J. Clinton Foundation, where she was responsible for programs and projects that support the Foundation’s global efforts. She also worked directly with the National Archives to develop world-class temporary exhibits at the Clinton Center, serving as the overseeing senior manager of programming, temporary exhibits, outreach, advertising, public relations and fundraising.
Prior to joining the Clinton Foundation, Hoover was director of development and volunteer services for seven years at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre. At The Rep, she developed an all inclusive fundraising program, managed large fundraising events, strategic planning, and board development. Her 14-year career in banking included time as vice president of Dominion Bank of Middle Tennessee in Nashville, as well as management positions at InterFirst Bank in Dallas and American Bank in Corpus Christi.
Hoover holds a degree in business management from Volunteer State College, and a banking and finance certificate from the Louisiana State University Graduate School of the South. She is actively engaged in community and civic organizations in Arkansas and currently serves on the board of directors of the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas and the Downtown Partnership Board. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Little Rock, an alumni of the Leadership Greater Little Rock program, and an active sustainer of the Junior League of Little Rock serving on the Finance Committee of the JLLR.
