Professor DiPippa was named to the Order of the Coif while a law student. Upon graduation, he practiced with the Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley, Virginia. He organized Washington & Lee’s first clinical program and taught in it for four years. He joined the UALR faculty in 1983 and teaches Constitutional Law, Legal Profession, Law & Religion, Interviewing & Counseling, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Professor DiPippa left UALR for a year to be Executive Director of Blue Ridge Legal Services. He returned in 1989 and served as the Associate Dean from 1990 to 1993. He is the co-author of The Counselor-at-law: A Collaborative Approach to Client Interviewing and Counseling (1999) as well as articles in the areas of legal ethics and constitutional law.
