As Technical Services Librarian, Professor Goldner is responsible for the library’s local system and for cataloging. She also participates in collection development and reference service. She produces the Arkansas Legal Index, a web site that indexes a variety of legal publications used by practicing attorneys in the state. She is an ongoing member of the University’s Institutional Review Board. She has served in leadership capacities for a variety of state, regional, national and international library organizations. These include being president of the Mid-America Association of Law Libraries, chair of the Council of Chapter Presidents of the American Association of Law Librarians (AALL), chair of the Online Bibliographic Services section of AALL, secretary of the Innovative Users Group, chair of the Council of Chapter Presidents of AALL, founder and chair of the Arkansas Innovative Users Group, and AALL representative to the MARC Advisory Committee to the Library of Congress. Most recently she served as the Interim Executive Director of the Mid-America Law Library Consortium, a group of 18 academic law libraries in nine states.
Before coming to UALR in 1987, Professor Goldner was the cataloger at Oklahoma City University Law Library and served as a library consultant to two law firms in Dallas, Texas: Stalcup Johnson Meyers and Miller and Durant Mancoff Davis & Wolens.
