While a student, Professor Gustafson served as Executive Editor of the Brigham Young University Law Review and was a member of Order of the Coif. Upon graduation, she worked as a law clerk in a Utah court. She joined the faculty in 1998. She teaches Reasoning, Writing and Advocacy and Legal Editing, Scholarship and Publishing as well as serving as Articles Editor of the Journal of Appellate Practice and Process.
