American Bar Association Law Student Division (ABA/LSD)
The American Bar Association provides law school accreditation, continuing legal education, information about the law, programs to assist lawyers and judges in their work, and initiatives to improve the legal system for the public. The Mission of the ABA is to be the national representative of the legal profession, serving the public and the profession by promoting justice, professional excellence and respect for the law. Membership in the student division allows students to join the world’s largest professional organization of lawyers. Division membership also provides an excellent opportunity to establish contact with leading practitioners in the Association and law students throughout the country.

American Constitution Society
The American Constitution Society is one of the leading Progressive legal organizations in America. ACS is dedicated to values of human dignity, individual rights, and equality. The organization is committed to fostering a Progressive vision of the law in areas such as civil liberties, discrimination, criminal justice, human rights, and constitutional interpretation. ACS advances its aims through speaking programs, media and community outreach, and publications. The UALR William H. Bowen School of Law student chapter of ACS focuses on bringing speakers to campus who address legal and policy topics that are central to the mission of ACS.

Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA)
The purpose of the student chapter of ATLA is to encourage law students to learn trial advocacy skills and demonstrate what it is like to be a trial lawyer. The student Chapter provides a way for students to become actively involved in the professional division of ATLA through open discussions and ATLA sponsored professional events. The goal of ATLA is to preserve the civil justice system and right to trial by jury.

Black Law Students Association (BLSA)
The purpose of BLSA shall be to introduce black law students to the professional problems and responsibilities they will encounter upon admission to the practice of law, to address and represent the ideas and concerns of its members, and to promote cultural diversity and inclusion at the UALR Law School.

Bowen Athletic Department
The Bowen Athletic Department is an organization that promotes student physical wellness and fellowship through athletics. In our first year as an officially recognized student organization we are looking to expand and promote student athletic activities. In the past couple of years law school students have successfully organized, hosted and participated in, golf tournaments, ultimate Frisbee, intramural flag football, intramural basketball, law firm league softball, 5k's, marathons, and the traditional "Malpractice Bowl."

Bowen Lambda
Bowen Lambda is a UALR Law School student organization consisting of students, faculty, staff and alumni, regardless of sex, gender identity or sexual orientation. Our mission includes maintaining an open atmosphere of acceptance, tolerance and equality among all people and promoting awareness of legal issues affecting those who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered (LGBT). We focus on LGBT issues at the Bowen Law School, in the local community, and at the state and federal levels.
Some of our activities include 1) promoting equal rights, 2) educating everyone about LGBT legal issues, 3) coordinating social events, and 4) hosting speakers/luncheons.

Christian Legal Society
The purpose of the organization is to provide mutual support and encouragement, fellowship and spiritual growth to students at the Law School who identify themselves as followers of Jesus Christ, in order to assist them more faithfully live out the Christian commitment in their personal and academic lives, to prepare for future lives as Christian attorneys and to provide a witness and outreach for Jesus Christ in the Law School community.

Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity (DTP)
The purpose of this organization shall be to instill in every member the highest standards of personal integrity, diligence, candor and trust, of individual responsibility, of respect for law, rights and property of others and the highest ethical and professional standards of conduct in the study, practice, and teaching of the law. Further, the Fraternity seeks to provide an association for its members to network for scholastic, professional, and social purposes.

The local Society is a member of a non-partisan, nationally diverse organization of environmental law societies whose purpose is to encourage the formation and improvement of Environmental Law Societies throughout the country, and to bring them together for mutual dialogue, cooperation, information transfer and inspiration; to promote the awareness of environmental issues and environmental rights among the general public and the legal community and to increase involvement in such issues; to foster the study of environmental law through expanded curricula and materials, and to encourage responsibility and activism in the public interest by environmental law practitioners and to create, promote, and support personal connections between Environmental Law students both during their time in law school and after graduation.

Federalist Society
The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a nonpolitical group interested in the current state of the legal order. It is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be. The Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application through debate and discussion among students, academics and legal practitioners, and public policy experts at the law school level.

Law Review
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law Review has three primary objectives: (1) to publish articles, surveys, and essays that are timely and useful to Arkansas practitioners, the judiciary, and other members of the state’s legal community; (2) to publish material which reaches national and international legal audiences; and (3) to provide a forum for outstanding student work of both local and national interest, as well as an opportunity for students to gain experience editing scholarly articles.

“Street Law” Mentor Program (Street Law)
The purpose of the Street Law Mentor Program is to introduce the law and human rights to the youth of central Arkansas through mentor partnerships with area high schools. Objectives of the organization include assisting high school students as they prepare for mock trial competitions, introducing constitutional law issues to students through law student presentations, and providing a practical understanding of the law and encouragement to students interested in the law and the possibility of pursuing legal careers.

Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF)
The purpose of SALDF is to provide a forum for education, advocacy, and scholarship aimed at protecting the lives and advancing the interests of animals through the legal system, and raising the profile of the field of animal law. SALDF is dedicated to the goals of educating the law school and surrounding community about forms of institutionalized animal abuse, and engaging in projects that combat that abuse.
